The organisers of the Insomnia Gaming Festival have announced some changes to the online qualifier for the G2A.com Counter-Strike Challenge. Group A of the online qualifier for i54's main CS:GO competition came to an end on Wednesday, with x6tence and Publiclir.se both advancing to the semi-finals of the tournament. Insomania Gaming Festival's organisers have now decided to double the number of teams in Group B from four to eight following strong interest from several European sides in the qualifier.
The group format has also been changed from a traditional round-robin system to a double-elimination, best-of-one format. The winner of the Upper and the Lower brackets will move to on the next stage of the tournament. Below you can find the updated team list for Group B, which will be played on February 25:
